Replacing back brake - complete unit

I'm replacing the rear brake on my bike. The old unit is a Funn F2 and I'd like to put the Hope X2 brake on.

As I'm a bit of a duffer mech wise I have a few concerns; The unit from chain reaction is alot cheaper because it doesnt come with the rotor or fitting adaptor. Do I need these items? I already have good enough 160mm rotor and not sure if I need the mounting kit - as I'm not sure what the standard fitting on the caliper is and what on the frame.

The old Funn unit doesnt need an adaptor.

Should be okay without, depending on the frame, I'm assuming the frame has post mount? Would advise getting a hope rotor though, to help deal with the heat generated by the tech series.

Then you need to find out.

Any chance of a pic? If there is no adaptor, your frame may be post mount and you will be ok, however your caliper may be IS mount, in which case you will need an adaptor for the hope brake.

Do the bolts which hold the caliper to the frame fit from the top or the side of the seatstay ?

The frame has side mounting lugs on the seat stay. I've measured from centre to centre and they're about 55mm apart.

Then you will need an IS mount for the Hope.

Are there a pair of bolts 74mm apart going through the top & bottom of the caliper ?
