I use the 661 kyle straits knee guards. Very comfortable. Also use their gloves, also excellent.

Peronsally; I've used the 661 Kyle Straits and found them to be good, they're only knee pads though and don't have any shin protection. I've never used 661 gloves but i've found sombrio to be fantastic and Royal have impressed me too.

Just picked up a set of 661 Raji gloves. very comfy, perfectly fitted and incredibly breathable but have snagged a couple of times on passing brush (mesh material uppers). not torn yet but can only assume it wont be long. and they have irritatingly long tags! mine went almost to the first knuckle in a size xl.
  • Have Kyle Straits and a set of Veggie Shins.
Good kit, but found that I had to go a size up on everything.

Both my daughter and her BF use 661 stuff, good competant kit at reasonable prices I think....

Welcome to the more enjoyable side of the cycling malarky, isn't a road bike an MTB between off road trails?

Certainly not if you re wearing knee pads - that would look really strange!
