After months of shopping around trying/testing etc,, i decide to get the mongoose slavo comp fs, now i know some of you said get the elite(lbs didnt stock it) try this,that and the other etc etc, if this is how good a £800 fs is then im looking forward to getting a expensive fs in a couple of yrs or 3 !!......need a mudguard on the arse end tho as i got wet ass syndrome on the way work and it aint good sitting in a truck all night with a wet ass !! (forgot a change of kecks)....... looking forward to finishing at 6 am to get her in the woods.....

A Neoguard or Mucky Nutz Fender Bender helps stop gunk getting thrown up into your eyes.

I wouldn't bother with a shock sock, they are basically useless with the seals most shocks use now.0

I have used a lizardskin thingy on my shock, not sure it makes any difference but shock is still in perfect condition after two years of abuse.
I do take it off and clean it after rides though.
Think it could cause issues if gunk got inside and sandpapered the shock, but that's never happened.I don't do smileys.
