Advice on Giant Anthem X4

I have finally taken the plunge and bought my first full suspension bike after riding a hardtail for the last 18 odd years.
Picked up an Anthem X4 2011 reduced from £1650 down to £1145, well chuffed with the price, just waiting now for the bike to be deliverred.
Is there anything any one could recomend to me before I go out on the bike for the first time to make my first FS experience the pleasure I'm hoping it to be.
Do Giant throw anything in the boxes, ie cable patches, shock pumps , pedals, etc etc.
How do the Crossmark tyres fair on this bike, will I need to possibly swap them over too,?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

they don't come with pedals.
mine is last year's so came with 2.1 Michelin tyres, I changed these for some 2.3 conti verticals I had lying round.
I also put some supertstar blue end caps on to make the bike look even lovelier.
Other than that I have not changed a thing and I love riding the bike.Whether you're a king or a little street sweeper, sooner or later you'll dance with the reaper.

Tyres will be fine, take time to set up your suspension correctly before you bomb down any trails.0

Crossmark's are crap in wet muddy conditions, I'd stick something else on for now and save them for the beautiful summer that we're going to have next year...
Mine came with a shock pump and some cable rub patches. I think there was also a CD Rom from Fox re setting up the suspension.XC: Giant Anthem X
