Removing/replacing Sram Rival Brake levers, How?

As per title can anyone shed some light or tips on how to do this job?
After a "Domestic" my road bike suffered some big scrapes damage on the carbon brake levers. I wish to remove the levers from my Rival setup.
I searched online and had a small look at the levers but can't see an obvious way to remove the levers.
Has anyone done this job themselves?
After seeing the price of replacements around £70-75 each I thought I’d try filing sanding & buffing first to make them look good again.
Your help will be much appreciated
Cheers

Thankyou for that  Of course I found that info from SRAM but that document does not show you how to remove the levers only [I'm not talking about removing from handlebars either].
I was after some practical help or pointers. If I remove the lever i.e one of these
Do you knock the pin out or something else? Anyone with some real help please reply?29er http://tinyurl.com/bs4flux

unless the levers are actually broken, I honestly wouldn't bother....0

The pin looks similar to the one holding the lever into the AVID brakes on my MTB. That pin is held in place buy a small hex head grubscrew, accessed from behind the lever. I have no experience of sram levers, but AVID are part of SRAM so this might be a place to start.
Hope this is more help than a dose of sarcasm.0
