Well, almost 3AM and I've awoken, no idea why though
Having a glass of water and planning on attempting another shut eye session until at least 8AM.
Until the sun rises, I wish you good morning...
  • Tomorrow (Thursday for me) I have a day off, an afternoon golf tournament with work followed by BBQ and beer-o-muchos. Probably hit the trails in the morning.

    Bilinguists and cunninglinguists,

Thursday. There are bacons in my very near future, and it will be good.

Can't beat starting the day with a bit of warm pork*.

    Que?

Another day of jobs beckons for me - garden this time, followed by buying some stuff for the house repairs. I will at least get a bit of a bike ride in with junior this afternoon: in the meantime I need a coffee fix as I was woken to early for me and I don't do mornings.

Also no sign of my bike lights - no night ride for me on the weekend at this rate :(

    +1 on Lawman being a ****** cheat !

Always starts the day by beating warm pork^

Off to some southern wind farm for the rest of the month :( 'cause there is sod all riding in the south.

Apart from that the day should be fine
I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

There seems to be a lot of g'morning thread cheating recently. The lows that crudités will stoop to just to start the morning posting  I'd never expect it from you lot

Anyways, Morning cheats, linguists and horrible bar stewards.

This morning is consisting of sitting around waiting for some guy to come carry out a gas safety test on my house, therefore a morning off work to bum about. An hour of exercise this eavening and not much else.

    Laters.

  • Morning plebs.

Today is a day of wonderfulness, I only have a bit of work to do, then it's out and about for inspections.

I have also learnt two things on the way into work.

    1. BMW drivers do not like the well known italian hand jesture for 'you've got a small dick'
    2. BMW drivers also suddenly calm down when a 6ft2 person gets out of a Fiat Panda rather than a frial old woman.

    morning all...

the best one i saw was when a truck driver just parked up on a side road and partially blocked a guy behind him....the guy got out of his car and was effing and blinding with the usual hand gestures. when possibly the biggest guy i've ever seen in my life stepped out of the cab to go and see him. the guy must have been 7 ft tall and nearly as wide...i've never seen someone get back in a car and reverse so fast

kaiser83 If you want to do it, do it. But don't become a 'weekend warrior'

(although saying that, it might be good to build up a client base while still working full time, as going self employed in photography is hard work)

There's a huge number of 'togs on Google + and Twitter that will be able to give you advice should you need/want it.

In other news I've just realised I'm supposed to take a pair of shorts to my hospital appointment, so looks like I'm going home in an hour or so..at least I'll get to pick my phone up

foxc_uk yeah i know my sister went pro about 5 years ago and she has been struggling at times.

    The thing that is contributing to all this as follows;

26th September 2011 i will be debt free, completely debt free for the first time since i was 17, and i just feel like i want to break free from writing reports and specifications all the time, systems engineers get paid well, but man can it be a dull job!

Will you be debt free as in down to £0 as far as loans/savings are concerned?
I'm sure you've already thought about it but build up savings and a client base before handing in the notice...

This is all far too sensible for the CC

I think my plan is 5 more years contracting and smashing the money in to savings, and then think about this kind of stuff.

Today I'm playing the 'walking' game with this email I received at work:
On Walk4Life Day, 25th September, ten cities
across England and Wales will take part in
mass-participation walks led by Change4Life and key
walking groups. For details of where and when the
    walks are taking place....

Want to create your own local walk?....

I'm also trying to figure out why my Ukranian alarm clock app on my phone went mental this morning, which meant I ended up with an alarm going off and no way to stop it :?

Other than that, work, work, work.

I think we're in the same boat pal. I finished Uni with a degree in design and put it on the back burner. Turns out I’ve been working in sales for 5years now. (5 year to many)

I’m sick of 'office jobs' and wanted to get into landscaping - Put myself out there and I’m currently working on two properties. I guess if you want something enough you'll do something about it. I wouldn’t just jack in your current job though. Its worth checking to make sure its right first!

It's scary how fast money seems to get spent when you're not earning. Get saving! I'll say no more, this is not Crud-like at all :)

If you hit snooze it goes into meltdown, it's therefore very good at making me get out of bed and into the decontamination shower in the morning.

It's actually meant to detect which sleep 'phase' you're in, and set the alarm accordingly, rather than disturbing deep sleep. I gave it a try because I can sleep through half an hour of my alarm blaring at full volume right next to my head, it's not laziness, I just don't wake up!

    Now then,

Shared a quick beer and some cheap red wine (one euro fifty for a litre) after finishing work this morning and now have a fuzzy head, didn't drink too much but do not have the facility for hangover destroying bacons total Fail

Rest of the day will involve loafing, sun bathing and getting ready for another night-ish shift!!
