  • Not a bad performance at all by Wales... beaten on tries though.

What is going on with this new ball though, it seems to be crap for penalties... shame that Hook couldn't get that last penalty conversion.

Definitely the best game so far.
  • Stayin in Cornwall, just about to head out on a night shift, will be back in tIme for cooked breakfast, a few pints of tetleys and to watch the England b team stuff Georgia. Also looking like sa vs aus in the quarters will take out one of the big favourites so England's chances keep improving.

    Rugby world cup! :D
All hail the FSM and his noodly appendage!
  • I just want Scotland to beat Argentina.

    Great result for Ireland though...unexpected

Scotland ain't gonna beat the argies.

Ireland played well... completely destroyed Aus in the scrum!

The Northern Monkey I think thats a fair prediction for the world cup but I think England will beat Australia for a New Zealand Vs England final. Although I really want England to win and they do have a very good chance, I have to agree with you that that New Zealand will probably win.

    are you drunk?

england have been performing exceptionally below par lately...nowhere near as good as they have been in previous world cups. australia have beaten south africa and new zealand recently...i couldn't see england doing that at the moment :?

I had had a drink and I stand by my prediction despite the fact that Ireland played well this morning and England played shockingly bad last week.

I predict England will totally destroy Georgia tomorrow and Romania next week.

  • A totally dominant and superb display from the England team this morning, we have arrived at this world cup and the Scots will be worried about next week!

Gotta beat the sweaties, but they always pull a spoiling game out of the bag. Be nice to properly destroy them.

They were much better, I enjoyed it a lot!
  • NZ are running around the French!

French went to sleep at one point!
  • I'd like the Sweaty Socks to beat the Argies tomorrow and put us both through, also I wouldn't feel as bad when we demolish them next weekend if we weren't putting them out of the cup!

Romania also had a 2nd team out... they're playing Georgia next week and want to win that one.

Hopefully the England team won't now get too cocky.

Scotland to lose to Argentina tomorrow :D

I've got Namibia in the sweep stake that I'm running at work, I think I've got a good chance of winning the pot :?

In other news, Ireland played very well this morning.

i hope the scots beat the argies.
  • Ouch, Scotland had that to win and let it go.

Awesome argie defence at the end.

  • The Argie off side for the last kick that the ref didn't see/call could have been their saving!

It was a really good game, and the Jocks deserved it. Much fun will however be had this week winding up the Scots that I work with prior to next weekends game!

but shocking scottish defence for the try, they'll cry then they watch that back
  • Paterson at fault the most I think, but poor overall.

Anyway, the only game that matters is the one tomorrow AM, Byrne needs a huge game to ressurrect his status as a world class FB, 1/2p should do well and Aled Brew needs to show some of his dragons form and dog.

wellies back at 10, and good to see Ryan Jones playing at last.

Don't think we'll bust 50 points, but a bonus point should be doable.

Something really strange has happened this week - all my Scottish colleagues have started speaking French? I think they're just slowly turning into full on Frogs in time for saturdays game.

I'm still undecided if I'm going to get up at 0600 to watch the Ireland Vs Wales game as there is no doubt it will be an awesome game and neither team deserve to go out yet!

    south africa win
    france win and
    new zealand win

now i've said that they'll all probably be wrong  and as we know england have got to 2 finals playing crap so they could scrape it :?

    How wrong was I!
Still waiting for Ireland to turn up

Wales were just much much quicker up in the line, Ireland were half asleep most of the time!

And even though I think he's a little sh!t, the try by Mike Philips was pretty damn good tbh!
