Wheels - budget, general use

Currently, I only have one bike, a Ribble Winter bike. (planning on getting a race bike for next season but this is it for now).
Thinking of getting some new wheels to replace my existing pro-lite como wheelset, because:
a) the rear wheel has quite a bit of sideways movement - it is true, but when I hold it I can move the wheel from side to side. Think this might be related to hitting a pothole at 40mph earlier in the year
b) they weigh 906g(f) / 1192g(r) = 2098g
c) I'm doing a few hill climbs soon and wondering whether it's worthwhile gettign some lighter wheels.
So, options:
- Campagnolo Khamsin (875g / 1060g = 1935g) £99.99
- Planet-X Model B (705g / 948g = 1653g) £124.99
Is it worth it in your opinion? Any other suggestions?
The P-X look a good deal, any feedback on sturdiness for what will generally be a winter bike.
It's probably also worth noting that I like the hills and most of my riding is hilly, so the lighter weight would probably help me with my general training.

Never used the planet x wheels but have been running khamsin for 3 winters now. They're pretty bombproof and I really appreciate my lighter wheels in the summer.
I wouldn't worry about weight on the winter bike.If suffer we must, let's suffer on the heights. (Victor Hugo).0 -
There's a big thread on replacement wheels in the Road Beginners forum right now
