Oof.

Just back from a 4 day riding trip up north....7 of us headed up on Thursday night, and got back on Monday night.

Day 1 - Aultguish to Ullapool - about 55 miles over the hills. Beast of a day.
Day 2 - Ullapool back to Aultguish - a bit less this time, on mostly estate roads.....made hard by the beasting on day 1.
Day 3 - Change of plan due to empty legs and heads....easy day....20 mile loop near Achintee....descent was a 7.
Day 4 - Coulags. Perfect 10. Short loop (maybe just over 15 miles), but probably the best descent I have ever done. Had it all. Natural berms, doubles, gaps, steeps, slickrock, tight twisty switchbacks, bridges, midges and big grins all round.

For those in the know.....Its like a dragons nostril  ..... and I am now officially eating everything I can get my hands on!
Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.

sounds like you had a god time. the Coulags sounds particularly fun.

I find sudocreme a better choice for cooling the burning ring of desire. I would also avoid eating anything that is to spicy incase it irritates you further on the way out.
    Fancy a brew?

Proper chaos cream is useful here, embrace your inner roadie!
