High pressure innertubes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the benefits of the aero seat post might be somewhat mitigated by the riding position.
But what would I know?
Great find.0 -
Wow, how do I buy that beauty?ebay chancer wrote:Carbon Fibre Rigid forks' (Gives a slight bend for bump absorption)ebay chancer wrote:carbon fibre saddle

I'm going to watch this. I may even ask some questions to get his hopes up e.g. What is the gearing? How much does it weigh? What planet are you on? You know, valid questions.FCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future

Yes, same as steel or alu forks. Not a lot, mind, but that's how they absorb an impact.1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)

You want them to bend (deform) a bit, but also to spring back (deform elastically) to their original position in a controlled way, Too rigid, and you'll lose your filliings, too bendy and you'll be wallowing all over the road (even if there's no risk of them actually breaking).

Not eligible for frankenbike, I think he spent more than £200. I could go and look at it just for a giggle, it's not far. But then again, I won't.0 -

Your first comment made me want to go, the second one not so much. What size was the underwear and was it used?0 -
Just had a quick look at the feedback and items sold include a 36AA non underwired bra, a 36D black lace bra and a couple of garden gates, amongst other things. One of the feedback comments was that HE was a nice gentleman. Nice gentleman that has undergone a couple of boob jobs and keeps going up a few sizes perhaps.

It really is a shocking sight; I'm guessing (s)he'd stand a better chance of selling it were it to be stripped down as parts?Location: ciderspace0 -
With the stoner drawl, confused look on his face, gawping at a pile of bits wondering how it fell apart. Obviously whilst dressed like Lily Savage.0

Young's Modulus and all that.
essentially you want the material to stay within the elastic region and not reach the point where it necks and then fails. elasticity, plasticity and all that.
I did actually pass Engineering Materials...shame my maths is sh1t thoughOfficers don't run, it's undignified and panics the men0 -

Or, now includes a 'make a offer' option.
Just to tempting. Who want's to go first?
I recon it's worth £300.0 -

It's probably worth about £750 as in bits it would possibly sell for £1K, but you'd have to pay me a lot more than that to be seen rding that poor bike, is there an offence of cruelty to a bike frame?
