Bought one of these today for £5.99. Seems well made and soon up to 110PSI

Well it might say 110psi, but it might not be. I had one of these as my first track pump and it was only when I replaced it with a decent one that I realised just how optimistic the pressure gauge was!
    More problems but still living....
  • I had one a few years ago, worked ok for a while,,,I didn't attempt any more than 100psi...it failed after a few weeks...I got a refund as they don't have stock....
I then bought a decent track pump that will last for years...more than happy to spend the extra ££ for a quality product, some things are just not worth buying cheaply.
  • I had one of these and blew the barrel apart after a month. Bought a Specialized replacement, 4 times the price but already lasted 6 times longer.
  • OK OK, so nobody rates these :(Still I'll see how it goes and keep the receipt as recommended!

This model is much much better than the older ones, it will be fine.

  • Thanks again....it does seem sturdy so I'm cautiously optimistic given my modest investment

I bought one last year around this time. Is generally fine (pretty hard work past 95psi though), but it's now developed a leak. I think if you were only using it on mountain bikes/kids bikes it would be fine, but high pressures for road tyres aren't good for it IMO.

The gauge on mine was always about 5psi out compared to my decent handheld one, so not too bad really. It costs ~£5, I expected little and tbh it's far surpassed my expectations. Like their tool kit, it gives me a taster of a product for very little money. If you've never used a track pump, or just need a spare to keep in the car etc, they are fantastic IMO.

Now I know what I need, I'm going to spend a decent amount and get something that will (I hope) last a lifetime.
