Front Mech Not Working Right

My front mech is having problems moving the chain from 2 to 3 on the crank. Been in the LBS 3 times now. Really fedup over it. Want to just get rid of it. I am using a SRAM X5 with the front mech having a label SiS on it. It's 27 speed. What can I replace it with?

Any same pull, same swing front mech. With the right clamp size.

Or just try indexing it.
