I don't mind if I know it's raining. Last night wound me up. I left work and it wasn't raining, 100 yards down the road however...
  • Had a phone call at 4.25 from someone in Wembley saying it was torrential there. Sounds like it may be moving away from Cenrral London.

Will it rain today isn't looking too promising either

  • Yeah - it is hosing down at Victoria. I suppose it is an excellent test of new overtrousers and overshoes... I got to work this morning looking considerably drier and calmer than colleagues who had been fighting brollies and trains

But think I will be heading straight home rather than via gym!
  • two ducks just sailed past the window wearing raincoats...

if you live in east - at least you'll get there quick (from central)

Did the doctor not tell you to get out on your bike and burn off all those beers and burgers you have been consuming....MTFU and get out there.....I'm off for laps of the park - I'll be soaked within 1/2 mile of work so a few laps will make no difference - NAILS
  • Just had a cloudburst here in Aldgate.... but rain radar shows it'll pass in the next 30min or so and clear behind that...

    ... I hope...

mayfair it was wallumping it down but has now eased to a steady drizzle.

Down to luck whether you escape with a bit of drizzle or get hit by a tornado on the way home I reckon

  • well the weather is travelling east but the band of rain is at 45degrees to the wind, so NW London will dry out , but SW London is going to be wet for a while longer.... and SE London has yet to experience the worst I reckon...

  • I'm going to the pub until it settles. Gonna be a tasty headwind home.

Don't mind the rain as much, but when it sheets down like this, people seem to forget how to drive...

The heavy sheeting seems to have passed and RainToday is looking a little more promising about the next hour or so. Might be time to let it home...

Great ride home after all that. Drivers left me room (with one exception that sqeezed me into a lake), the rain had stopped I think, got wetter from spray and sweat than falling rain.
Fast ride through Bushy Park, with another chap behind making sure I couldn't rest. I think the wind was mostly behind as I seemed to be travelling at about 24mph for a good while.
    BIG puddles though.
  • Timed it perfectly, and didn't get wet at all, tho the wind was still a PITA...

Traffic was much heavier today, both this morning and this evening... holidays must be over I guess...

PF visit on the front 1/2mile from home tho :( so walked it, will fix after food and footie...
