HI All.
I bought this bike 2nd hand and I wanted to find out a bit more about it. I've used the bike locator on the Trek web site but I didn't find anything with the Discovery Channel paint job. Does anyone here know anything about it?

Looks like it could well be this one, at least the frame anyway. Nice looking bike by the way.

It's not that one. It's more like a 2005 Madone 5.X frame. Note the sculpting on the seat tube and down tube...
The SRAM will have been added later I'd have thought as they all originally came with Shimano drivetrain and I don't even think Rival was out in 2004/5...0 -

If you read the article, it mentions the paint job being available in 2006.0

Indeed, but on a 2005 frame? The 2006 madone has that paint job as an option but doesn't have the shaping of the tube just in front of the back wheel. Does it have a frame number?
If so, contact Trek with the details and pic and ask them?0 -
It is defo a Trek Madone 5.9. I have seen them in this colour scheme but not with SRAM decals. I have the same bike in red/grey paint.
