An insane good morning to you Maggots!

3AM and I am up! Going into Surrey today and I've beaten the alarm clock by over an hour
I know I won't get back to sleep, so there goes my day down the drain..
Wishing you all a pleasant lie in this morning while I get my day on the go a lot earlier than any sane person...

Right, kettle on, toaster on, time for tea and crumpets (with Marmite)

  • I must be mad, sat at my laptop working away right now because I woke at 2:30am then active mind kicked-in.

Off on hols on Saturday and too much to get done at work before then - hence the active mind!!

And it's pissing with rain here in Sunny Manchester - let's hope it stops before this evening or the quick spin around Macc Forest could be a wash-out!!
  • Ah, another nocturnal person!
Well, just gone five AM and I will enjoy my 170 mile trip is the pouring rain..

There is no win in this Post :¬P

    Yes, it stinks doesn't it!!

Have a safe drive - I'm done for work now, going to try to get an hour's kip before the alarm goes off.

Happy sleeping the rest of your slackers!!

Slacking works for me,as I am still on holiday :)

So a quick hour revision, followed by a run and then the beach - just like every other day :)

    Day off work in Clanksville.

Now sat with a cuppa awaiting dellivery of a 250kg pallet. Shifting that f***er'll be hilarious.

  • Morning weird sleepers!

I've got a slightly late start this morning and therefore am chilling with a brew and a big bowl of frosted shreadies before strolling to work in about 45 min. The weather is absolutely dog toffee in Oxfordshire also.

My day will consist of then sittining in a classroom all day being bored and learning a bit of equipment that I am very unlikely to use - and if I do it won't be until 2013 when I go to Afghan and by which time I will have forgotten what to do with it..

My day will be sponsored by Tetley's, Haribo and Relentless!

weather report from bristol: Cloudy, Rainy and Windy! ar$e biscuits!
  • Greeting for the third time Maggots!

I am in Surrey at the coffee shop, the trip sucked taking an hour longer because of the rain and headwinds en route..
My 2nd coffee of the day, much needed after my lack of sleep. I'll either be wired from too much caffeine or lack of sleep. The caffeine seems like the lesser of two evils..

Wishing you all a fandabulous day

weather is totally ar$e in Berkshire as well but I'm driving today, it's rare I'm glad not to be on the bike but today I am.

I don't even mind the rain but wind does annoy me.

I've been up since 2.30am thanks to youngest and even a major coffee intake is failing to assist.

    Good morning genetic mutants,

Today is a day of shame. First day of the school term so I have proper free time for the first time in 6 weeks and I've allowed myself to be dragged to Bluewater to shop for stuff  To cap it off I went for a blast on the road bike last night (too dark for MTB'ing as I've got no proper off-road lights just yet) - and I enjoyed it  Someone take me outside and shoot me now!

  • Good Afternoon Freaks!

Well, the commute in was surprisingly quick this morning. May be something to do with the 50mph tail wind! Add in a nice mix of wet roads, driving rain, fallen leaves/twigs/branches/trees and slick tyres to make the ride a tad more interesting. :D
Obviously I shall be crawling against a headwind on the way home...

Is it just me or did summer fail to turn up this year?

Day of much mehness in the office today. Really, really busy though so it should help the time pass.

    Laters...
  • Ow do!

Busy morning so far. I've been outside twice due to the fire alarm going offf  and I've had the owner of a studio building company in because of problems with the bloke installing the air con (he's barely been seen and is 3 weeks late at finishing!) so, fun fun fun.

Looking at how to service some Pikes, seems easy enough, maybe a little too easy. I've had a pretty sh1tty few days with money problems, but, looks like mobile insurance will be rectified, car's problems may be covered by warranty, and then I can service the Pike's to my hearts content :D

Anywho, better get some grub down me.

    In a bit...

  • Still not recovered from my train journey in this morning, about an hour and a half to get from East Croydon to London Bridge (11.2 miles), thanks to some pikey barstuards stealing the quality cabling they use for signalling, they really nead to bring in the removal of hands for these type of people. And as for health and safety on Southern Railway, give me a laugh, Nazi POW's had more room on the prisoner trains that what I did this morning, I was closer to the guy next to me longer than I have been to the wife this month!
