Skullies for hearing aid wearers

I'm trying to find a skullie/helmet liner which doesn't cover the ears, but am having no luck. The only ones I can find have complaints because they claim to cover the ears but don't. I'd rather buy something specifically designed *not* to cover the ears because it would presumably fit better and feel more comfortable. Does something like this exist?
Skullies that cover my ears or make the slightest contact with my HAs are detrimental to my hearing.

My son has cochlear implants and has the same problem. Another CI user who was a cycling nut advised the use of a swimming cap underneath the helmet to hold the aids/processors in place. I don't know of a helmet that sits high enough to avoid obstructing hearing aids. As also mentioned, a buff folded into a beanie would do the same job and look a bit cooler.0
