Will you be on your bike at the time? If so, not in the town centre. Most cafe's are fairly poor anyway with bakers oven/Greggs being the best (consistent) place. Or there is the cafe at the top of Hills dept store.
Out of town you have birchgrove garden centre where you could leave a bike. This place has recently removed the previous caterers and is much improved too.
Many thanks apxn98. I'll be staying in a cottage in Norfolk and probably going into Lincolnshire for a ride on the flat, having been to the Alps alreadythis summer. I thought Spalding might be worth a stop for coffee.
