Front rack for Specialized TriCross sport

Dear fellow cyclists (preferably those who ride a Specialized TriCross sport),

I have one of those beauties, the 2008 model, and I'm looking for a front rack.The bike has mid fork mounts.

Any advice will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

    I've heard that the carbon forks on the Tricross ('06-'10) get a little unstable when loaded with a rack, so I'd suggest going for something as light as possible and trying to pack as light as possible on the front if it's unavoidable.

    How much stuff are you carrying? I loaded my 2010 Tricross Sport with about 13kg of gear on the back for a LEJOG trip and it handled it well.

    I have 08 tricross and woudl not load front. I have more than enough room on the back. Unless you away for months, then there is simply no need, cut down on weight and luggage!
