I wouldn't buy a 2012 bike unless I won the lottery. Always a better deal on a year or two old bikes.

Ok, I have £800 to blow! I want a sexy bike that I can use to both commute and do long haul rides. I'm talking 150 miles in a day. I only like mountain bikes and would like to keep front suspension. What do I buy? Is this too big an ask? Cheers for your help everyone.

Asking that in Buying Advice rather than then end of an old irrelevant thread might get you more response.
But I don't know of any sexy bikes. I suppose you could stick pics of naked ladies (or men depending on your inclination) on it.
But boardman might be a good start.
