Cycle King Wonderful fact

I know that Cycle King is the devil of the cycling world, but a friend made a comparison that just made me chuckle, so decided to post it.
I don't know about the façade in other towns, but the Cycle king in Oxford is yellow, with red writing on it, and the cycle King logo (also red) on the side. What didn't click until this mate pointed it out, was the resemblance to a Chinese take away that this façade has. This then made me think that what they sell in a Chinese take away will probably last longer, and be better for your health than what Cycle King sells!

How odd! This thread just made me remember my first proper bike (no idea what brand - a pale metallic brown 5 speed racer with yellow and black checkered stickers. I wish I knew but it was probably a 1970s version of Ammaco!) and the shop. Which was N J Thakes (I have a terrible memory and it is at least 30 years since I killed that bike) which was the first Cycle King in Sawbridgeworth. Then it was just an independant bike shop. I had no idea it was now evil
Edit - hmmmm, their road bike range is looks pretty evil!Faster than a tent.......0 -

Had never hear of them either, so thought I should check out their website.
Wish I hadnt just bought a Giant
This just looks so sleek and long in a dragster sort of way, and incredibly well set up, particularly the position of the levers on the bars, which appear to be wrapped in electricians tape
