MTB in the fjords on the west coast of Norway

This is a video I have made of some of our epic trails in the north section of the west coast of Norway. The surrounding mountains are typical 1600-2000 meters high, but the trails we are riding are from 1000-1100m and go all the way down to sea level. No lifts, hardly any fire roads, just push biking up the mountains.
The occasion is a yearly gathering called "Fjørå Singletrack Camp". We have been limiting the event to only 50 participants, to keep it social and non-commercial.
The fjords on the video are Tafjorden, Norddalsfjorden, Sunnylvsfjorden and the “famous” Geirangerfjorden.

    Love it. 8)
How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

  • I used my phone to take a 360 Photosynth picture from Liahornet, one of the tracks in the movie. A cool way to show 360 pictures :)

And a friend of mine has also made a video from this gathering.

It was actually quite warm; I would say about 15-22 degrees. Perfect for biking in the mountains, well actually a bit warm for me to be honest...
If you want the real statistics you can see it all here:

Normally we get a bit of everything almost every day, sun and rain. And this year has been more wet than normal, as you also can see in the statistics. Remember that the videos in this thread are from the same 2 days. You may have noticed that in my film (the first) the weather looks a lot better than in my friends film (the last) …..
