Non-enclosed QRs.

My bikes have internal cam QRs. Safe.

Wife's bike has external cam QRs. Unsafe. My finger was against the cam (unbeknown to me). As I tightened it, my finger was pulled in and tore a small hole in my finger :oops:

It bloody hurts.

  • never ever had a problem with them, and every bike i've owned has had exposed cams. be more careful, eh? :o:lol:

    I did the same on my workstand when I was stripping an old steel frame. Bite like a pitbull!
