Time Trial Bike Sizing

Hello,
Just wondering...
How do I convert sizing from a road bike to a time trial bike? I have 60cm and 62cm road bike frames, what sort of time trial specific frame sizing would this compare to?
(I know to do it properly I need a bike fit, but was just wondering at this stage)
Thanks

Usually go down 1 size...Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0

Be careful though as many TT frames these days have taken TT geometry into account for their sizing already, so the same size frame has a shorter Tt, lower HT etc.
E.g I ride a Scott 56cm road bike and would use the 56cm TT frame from them, which has the geometry adjusted already. A 54cm TT frame from Scott would be too small.
In the olden days when road frames were often used as TT bikes, yes, a size down was good advice.0 -
You could try using the fit calculator here http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CCY?PAGE=FIT_CALCULATOR_INTRO as a starting point for your required geometryThere is no secret ingredient...0
