Cop vs Cyclist

Watch the clip, a cyclist is stopped by a police officer for allegedly riding through a red light. Whether he has or has not, what happens next is interesting.

So, some questions:

    1.
Are we obliged to answer any and all police questions?

    2. When being issued with a ticket (for riding through a red light/pavement etc) are we obliged to take the paperwork/ticket being issued?

    3. Are we obliged by law to provide our personal details upon request or can we refuse?

    4. What if I give fake details? As a cyclist I do not have to produce any documents or a driving licence

    5. Can the police arrest you for not providing your details?

I don't subscribe to the persons question about police training and acting like revenue collectors. If he RLJ'd he should be issued with a ticket.

A true scalp is not only overtaking someone but leaving them stopped at a set of lights. As you, who have clearly beaten the lights, pummels nothing but the open air ahead. ~ 'DondaddyD'. Player of the Unspoken Game
