rock shox rebound adjuster

hi can any one help the rebound adjuster doesnt seem to be working on my 2011 rock shox recon TK SL it still feels the same no matter which way i fully turn the dial on the bottom of the fork in the owners manualis no help either
falling off doesn't hurt....its the landing that hurts

The difference can be quite subtle - though I'd take to a shop to have a mechanic or experienced rider have a look.0
