Will these take decent mudguards....

Boardman Comp or Road or a Trek 1.5? I'm only asking as imlooking to purchase one of these as a winter/commute. I am looking at a few others, but I no they will take mudguards :)
Any suggestions from anyone on other bikes though? Even though I ay already have them in mind...

    No complaints about my Boardman, apart from the fact that mine won't take guards :(

    Does the road comp not take mudguards then? Bummer, preferred that over the lot :(
