100mm forks on a 120mm frame

I have some fox 32 100mm forks and someones offered me a giant anthem 2010 frame which ships with 120mm forks i think what would be the the outcome of putting the 100mm on this frame, it has a warranty but this bike would be used for travelling to from work so roads only, any thoughts
