To get us started:
Last bike thing you bought - Cateye HL EL220 Front Light
Why - My other light is too focused, this has a wider beam
Did you really need it? - Yeah, plan to ride more at nights
Any good? - Initially yes, not rode it yet but in a dark room seems good. One thing is the battery compartment aint the best but it keeps its size down...

Last thing i bought?
Last thing - a new set of handlebars for the MTB
Why - Because i crashed from 15' up and don't know how the bike landed, or what the forces on the bars were. As you can't see fatigue in ally bars, i decided to replace.
Did i really need it? - More of a safety issue and i value my front teeth, so i'd say yeah.
Any good - Yet to test, but the car park test feels good.0 -

Last bike thing you bought - Pro Stealth Evo Bar / Stem combo

Did you really need it? - Yes, i NEED every single bike related purchase regardless. This one needed to get bike fit right and for somewhere to put my new Campag Ergo levers.
Any good? Dont know yet - i'm injured so cant ride. Look amazing though so the bike is living in the kitchen.0 -
Last bike thing you bought - 2 SwissStop Flash Brake Pads - Full Cartridge
Why? - Mountain descents coming up and I like to stop!
Did you really need it? - Yes, the old pads are on the way out.
Any good? - Not sure, never used them before. Apparantly great in wet conditions (hopefully it stays dry) and kinder to my rims.0 -

A Gore windproof undershirt. For €60. I stopped believing years ago that breathable material really exists. But sadly, I believed the marketing. Was raining, stopped raining, took off my rain jacket, undershirt soaking wet (from sweat). Was so cold that I had to put my rain jacket on again. Having said that, I was probably dripping wet with sweat because of the rain jacket, so I'm not (yet) moaning about the undershirt. Dry, cold days are few and far between...0

Both needed.
