Front mech help

i have a kona 2007 dawg frame, trying to fit x7 front mech on and it wont go low enough because the clamp is up against the rear suspension mount.
so im guessing i need a high clamp front mech
can anyone recommend one that will fit?

i have
deore m590 triple crankset and x7 9sp rear mech is that makes a difference
this ones cheaper but not high clamp, although it looks high

Sounds like you need to upgrade your crankset before you start worrying about a new mech!0

You need a bottom swing, or high clamp front mech. Also called conventional.0 -

thanks supersonic.....of the two i links posted top one is high mount, bottom one says conventional, both x7 but the conventioanls a tenner cheaper, will it be ok?0
