Well last nights ride was a expensive one! Firstly a rock strike twisted my XT rear mech which i can live with, then i managed to do this:

Was to busy watching this stupid bitch and her dog that I missed a pair of deep stone drainage ditches across the trail, banged into one and it must have gashed the rubber and before i realised i was loosing tyre pressure i smacked into the second one

O well M780 rear mech on order and a new Crest rim.

  • Had that happen before (the oogling), but knock on wood never broken any parts because of it. I did end up having a ride with a pretty little thing by my side the other day while climbing, an d wasn't paying attention where I was going so ended up off the trail which made for some very technicals uphill log jumps, but finally got back there!

Me too, but in my motor. Reversing in to a parking space and a hottie walked across in front of me, curbed near side rear alloy...

    Ouch.

Perhaps more air would have prevented this?
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

Could have beenm worse. A few days into my first brand new company car I ogled a girl in the next lane, didn't realise the traffic had stopped and ended up with a large Merc embedded in my engine.
