A bit of geeky knowledge - miniguns normally use 7.62mm rounds but the one in Predator was especially made for the film and uses a 5.56mm round and is fully functioning. For the actors to be able to hold it and fire it from the waist it needed full body brace.+ 1001 posts reset by the cruel cruel moderators!

Oh, and JCVD was the first person to play the Predator but quit because he's up his own arse and didn't like the fact his face couldn't be seen!+ 1001 posts reset by the cruel cruel moderators!
