Solar car batery charger advice/help
Got a car battery in my garage I connect a light to so I can work on my bike after dark. However I am getting annoyed with having to charge it and was looking for a solution.
I have spotted these, wondered if anyone has any experance or can advise if this would keep the battery charged or if some bright spark had a better solution?

buy a decent battery charger which can be left on all the time. Solar chargers are fine if you live in the desert but with less than full sun you won't get enough voltage to charge the battery. If you want a solar charger you need to get one with a switched mode controller and maximum power point control.
