Hi guys
Need some advice about the above problem
recently bought new bike fitted with avid elixir R brakes
Been ok for about 2 months but just this week the rear brake has started squealing.
I have had the pads out and sanded/cleaned surfaces 2-3 times
Cleaned the rotor with a clean towel, still very loud noises and getting worse
No idea what has contam inated them but something has
Not sure if pads are sintered or organic
Any ideas?
Cheers

clean rotor/caiper with some proper brake cleaner and re-sand pad surface with some clean sandpaper0

see the topics in the FAQs and work out which noise you have and do as suggested in them."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
