nope - Froome beating Wiggins for team leadership?

    No chance.
You're right, but sky would be more than stupid to keep him just on wiggo domestique duty while he's very well positioned in the GC, let alone in red. More work for Possoni, Zandio and Lovkvist

Didn't Froome get a load of time back at the 2nd check point - hinting at a difficult 3rd sector?

Must be nice having two potential GC contenders...

Think Fuglsang may be in red, he has 26s on Froome in the GC and was going well.

Why? It already looks like he knows how to do it badly. How can it get any worse?

Wiggins just can't catch a break ... and it's superbly funny ... just a shame we don't have Harmon to laugh at as well ... fecking tennis ...

The Sky superbus is gonna be interesting for a few days ... It'll be Lance/Bertie 2009 all over again ...

That may have been a very poor and obvious joke indeed, but it was my poor and obvious joke. I demand an apology and retraction!

I cant see Wiggins and Froome clashing.

I'm sure everyone else is supraised as anyone that Froome is doing what he is doing. Has he had any performance in hte last 2/3 years that shows he is capable of doing what he is doing?

    Nice Result for Kenya today...

First Kenyan to wear a GT Jersey?

  • The thing is though, will Froome be able to climb as well as Wiggo in the coming stages?
  • Good shout by Greg Henderson suggesting Wiggo was dehydrated. Which is a bit schoolboy but would explain his implosion over the last few kilometres.

    Didn't see that coming. Brilliant.

Great ride for Chris Fr-whom? This could work out as a benefit for Wiggo - less pressure?

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

Is it necessarily the best situation for Sky to be in? Either spend time and energy defending Froome's red jersey, potentially weakening them for when / if Wiggins takes it, or try and arrange for Froome to lose it to Fuglsang, but not lose too much in case it goes to Wiggins and Sky have spend the following 10 days defending anyway?

I reckon they'll work on Wednesday to keep Froome in red, Thursday is flat, so no work needed and lose the jersey Friday. they'll get the coverage of Froome in red for 4 days (incluidng the rest day)for only one days effort.
