Hi
I'm half way though re building my bike. Had it powder coated and am in the process of putting it all back together. It's a 2004 hardrock sport
http://www.specialized.com/gb/gb/bc/SBC ... spid=21169
It says the current is a 1 1/8' threadless, sealed loose ball, alloy cap.
I'm changing the forks to Rockshox Recon. The current headset is looking a little tatty so was going to change it. Doesn't need to be anything special as I'm not into jumping etc and haven't ridden for 2 years.

1)Would this headset be a suitable replacement?
http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/Bike+Shop ... et_180.htm
2) Is there anything else I need?
Thanks
Chris

Suitable yes, best, probably not. Try an orbit XLII instead, it is sealed bearing so less maintenance an easier fitting. Pig DH is overkill TBHA Flock of Birds
+ some other bikes.0 -
+ 1 for XLII
Have a look on Ebay - normally a few there really cheap.I don't do smileys.
