Stans Crest rims - Do I need tubeless specific tyres?

I just ordered myself a set of new wheels with Stans Crest rims. Will I need specific tubeless tyres or could I use my existing Racing Ralphs?

I realise I need the rim tape and valves, what about sealant?

    Your Ralph's should be fine but you will need sealant.

    I use stans sealant in my crest/nobby nic combo.

    With a bit of time and patience, you'll end up with a decent seal.

    The old Schwalbe's work better, the new Tubeless Ready ones are insanely tight on Crests. A turn of yellow tape, bung some sealant in there and they'll go up a treat.
