    Dont think that you could save it but question is how long can you make it last before an epic fail!
    Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

    That'll buff right out.

    It's bloody annoying when this happens, esp. if there's still plenty of life in the braking surface. At least it's a commonly available rim, so you can just swap a new one onto it.
