hope pro 2 qr to bolt thru

hi, sorry this may sound really dumb but I am going from qr to bolt thru & I can't get the qr inner adaptor part off. I see it is held on with a recessed clip but do I need a special tool to get it off.

Sorry I can't upload a photo but its the inner part of the qr adaptor, both sides obviously.

Thanks v much in advance, any tips that don't involve yanking the whole thing out & throwing away appreciated.

    Put a screwdriver into it and whilst holding the screwdriver and the seal pull and wiggle it out.

    If you have real trouble grip it with pliers and wigle and pull. This will mark the ends that sit in your dropouts..

    at least I know it won't pop out, hell of a tight fit.
