hello, i am thinking of geting some nice new wheels. i would not like to pay more than £250 certainly. i have seen some easton ea50 sl they get a good write up and some mavic askium which worked out a good bit cheaper. i would like the very best i can get for my money and very much like as light as possible. i dont really have any preferance for makes but dont want a set of silver wheels. any thoughts or recomendations welcome, thank you

The Planet-X model B's are superb value. I paid 190 for the slightly lighter Pro-Lite Braccianos and love them, but they've since gone up in price a bit. It's be worth a visit to Ribble's website to see what' they're going for now.

Roval pave sl. Rrp 300, but some places have them for 180. Fairly light, very strong with good bearings and a limited lifetime warranty. They fit em on the Roubaix bikes for cobbles.

You can get a pair of Halo Mercury wheels for between 200 and 250. The black ones look the business, very light and the hubs spin and spin and spin.
