hello, i am thinking of geting some nice new wheels. i would not like to pay more than £250 certainly. i have seen some easton ea50 sl they get a good write up and some mavic askium which worked out a good bit cheaper. i would like the very best i can get for my money and very much like as light as possible. i dont really have any preferance for makes but dont want a set of silver wheels. any thoughts or recomendations welcome, thank you

The Planet-X model B's are superb value. I paid 190 for the slightly lighter Pro-Lite Braccianos and love them, but they've since gone up in price a bit. It's be worth a visit to Ribble's website to see what' they're going for now. - Quality Binoculars at a Sensible Price.

Roval pave sl. Rrp 300, but some places have them for 180. Fairly light, very strong with good bearings and a limited lifetime warranty. They fit em on the Roubaix bikes for cobbles.

You can get a pair of Halo Mercury wheels for between 200 and 250. The black ones look the business, very light and the hubs spin and spin and spin.
