I need some new gear!

I am after some new shorts (baggy's) which will be waterproof / not get my arse soaking.

and

A waterproof / water resistant jacket which will not boil me in a bag like my current sports direct version.

thinking of a pair of Humvees / single tracks and not sure about the jacket

    Humvee's and Singletrack's are not water proof, they are at best showerproof

    Endura Superlite's are waterproof

    As for jackets, it's a trade off between water proof and breathable

    I use a Endura Rebound showerproof jacket and a Berghaus RG1 waterproof jacket. Both do get a bit hot sometimes, but I just undo the zip or push the sleeves up

    Scott LTD Helium Paclite Shorts- £44.99 @ Evans

    Bought a pair weeks back- best waterproof I have ever used. Befor that I was using GoreTex Paclite Alp X, but those were not as comfy as Scott and cost something around £79.99. I think while back BikeRadar did a review on them. Buy one size bigger- those come tight.
