The beginning of a decent looking start list. Expect a strong Sky squad as they need to pull their finger out here after a fairly weak performance last year (Henderson excepted).
Just looking at the final stages in London and there seems quite a long gap between the end of the TT and the start of the road race (basically 3 hours), that's quite a lot of time to kill for the spectators - was thinking of going but we have a baby daughter so being out that long becomes hard work."I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0 -

Would be good to see Thomas go for the overall if he's got the legs. Dowsett will no doubt have his eye on that TT, would be good to see him get a win in his first senior season after some encouraging top 5 placing already in TTs."I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0 -

Convinced Sky will be all over the TT with the riders in their squad, even without Wiggins. There's a Tour Ride taking place in that gap and also a charity TT too. There'll be a UCI regulation about leaving a gap between split stages, so guess that accounts for a certain amount of time.0 -

It's funny that you should say that, today, of all days. Here's what happened in France this afternoon: http://poitou-charentes.france3.fr/info/jesse-sergent-radioshack-vainqueur-du-tpc-2011-70147915.html?onglet=videosTwitter: @RichN950 -

Strong team with Eisel and Renshaw. This should be good for attracting the crowds and I'm looking forward to seeing the race at Cheddar Gorge on the Friday.0 -
Which below average rider should we all support then? (Like in the tour down under where they pick a nobody and give him loads of support).+++++++++++++++++++++
we are the proud, the few, Descendents.

below average rider ?
like Arthur Vichot, who has just won the 1.1 Tour du Doubs ?
or Ángel Madrazo, el Gorrión de Cazoña, who has been totally invisible in the Vuelta?

I think the TdU was the first race for Vichot as a pro, at the age of 19. So whilst he probably isn't below average he wasn't exactly very well known, and wasn't expected to do much.0 -

Tobyn Horton, despite being a pretty handy sprinter he is mad for attacking, probably spent more ks up the road in the Ras than anyone else, so hopefully do the same in TOB so be good to give him some support0

The last chance to see Renshaw and Cav together I think.0

cav to lead renshaw out on the last stage?0

Hope not. Cav is a terrible leadout guy :P0
