I currently have the Echelon which is a decent helmet for the price. I like the S Works version and may upgrade but apart from the weight differneces and aesthetics i cant quite see my the S Works is worth £80 more.
Can anyone enlighten me? The S Works gets great reviews and what i like about it is that it looks equally at home on the tarmac and the trails.
Plus the silver one matches my Van Nic really well

I had the Echelon - big, mushroomy, heavy.
I now have the S-works - light, smaller, looks like what the pro's wear (they have a slightly better version of the S-works, but it's essentially the same)
This exact question has been discussed on several threads, some just in the last couple of weeks. Worth searching for them for other thoughts & other suggestions.
For me, the S-works just looks so so so much better.0 -

+1. The lightness and cooling has impressed me with the Prevail from the moment I got it.0 -

Is the S-works worth 2-3x as much though? Doubt it.0 -
Dunno - if you're like me (obsessively "about the look", even though I'm fat and slow) then yes, it's worth it ;-)0
