cycled into a service station just to buy a choccy bar. helmeted and mitted I went to pay and the guy asked "any fuel?". i just grinned and pointed to my helmet. he realised what he'd said and to be fair had a fit of giggles.
not often you leave a petrol station with a smile on your face!
However, on a more serious note this just goes to show that you should always wear a helmet. I don't think kicking him in the teeth with my cleats would have had the same effect! :twisted:

Yeah, it happened to me once as well But I just said "yes, number 27, please " making the girl confused, as there was only 8 pumps;)0

I claimed bike mileage on expenses from work recently (20p a mile not including usual commute - sweet) and had the claim kicked back because I hadn't submitted a VAT fuel receipt0
