    My saddle bag contains

    1 innertube
    £10 cash
    1 multitool
    3 tyre levers
    1 pocket pump (dual use)
    2 co2 canisters
    1 42gm granola bar
    1 small bag of jelly beans
    2 cable ties
    1 small roll insulating tape
    iphone

    I hadn`t realised how much stuff was in that little black bag. its amazing how much i can fit in

    And thanks for the advice about protecting the spare tube while it`s in the bag, what a good :idea:
    Hills hurt but sofas kill.

    2 broken chains in 40 years of cycling. In each case I was close enough to home for it not to be a disaster. In spite of this statistic I now carry a multi-tool which includes a chain splitter, and 2 kmc links. Must weigh me down by an extra 10 grams or so. It's just insurance really.
