Smart bespoke light bracket doesn't fit

I have the Smart bespoke front light which doesn't fit my new handlebars. AFAIK the bars are 31.8mm which the bracket is supposed to fit but I can't get it to do so.

Does anyone know where I could get a bigger bracket.

    You have to unscrew the top and slide the 'strap' out a bit, then unscrew the 'quick release' bracket out until it's long enough to go round your bars. I use the same bracket on my 31.8mm bars.

    If it's like the smart bracket I have, you need to undo the screw on the bracket and move the strap round to the last notch, allowing it to reach around a 31.8mm bar.
    Confused me at first, until I hid my man card and read the instructions...

    Gah I'm an eejit. I was trying to put it over the brake cable as well as the handlebar.

    So it does fit. But it wasn't half fiddly to tighten.
