Could someone please tell me tell me if its poss to fit XTR chainrings to a XT crankset.

    some yes some no.

    part numbers needed. but if the BCD is correct then you may need to use a bit if filing if the shoulders are different diameters. (shimano has nor kept it constant or the same).

    oh and watch out for some of the granny rings as they may need spacing out.
