My rear caliper pistons keep returning back to almost fully in after every application?
this results in a very long travel on the lever?
Please help internet land? its got to be something simple?

history? what did you do to make it change?

    depending on the above.

you could try adjusting the reach lever to move the lever forward and go use until they settle and then adjust back. or leave with the brake one (band about the lever grip ) over night.

Its been since I bled the brakes after fitting new hoses, its like there's a vacume pulling them back in? Very odd.

sounds like an incorrect bleed. you could see about a touch more fluid in the system as well.

    Update
Checked the fluid, all ok. checked the allignment (again) and adjusted the reach.
    I think this was it?
When i looked at the two leavers the rear one was much further in than the front one, so that and the adjustment is all good.
    Cheers Mr Louse
