bb30 squeek/crack

I've just got a boardman pro mtb with an fsa comet chain set which uses a bb30 bottom bracket its done 10 miles and just started getting a sort of cracking sqeaking noise from it any ideas ? Thanks

    If it's new take it back to Halfords or your LBS to take a look.

    I've heard that a lot of boarman BB30s weren't fitted properly from the factory and need to be reseated during the pdi.

    Yeh I've herd this too but apparently it hasn't really affected this bike is it the bb themsrlf or just the way they have been put in thanks

    Take it back to Halfords to sort out as it should still be covered under warranty. If you have the tools then do it yourself.

    i dont but wont it only do it again if they just fit the same bottom bracket

    depends if the bearings are screwed. if they are ok then just re-seating them will be fine, otherwise head office made bearings available to solve this.

    well with every pedal stroke pushing down on the right crack arm 2 creaks consecutively follow and on full rotation a general rough sounding and now ive got a really high pitched metal on metal sound coming from somewhere havent figured out where but sounds like my rear wheel to me :/ ive been back 5x now they say i keep missing "the boardman specialist" really not happy ! haha
