We've recently had our garage converted to the music room I've always wanted but now my bike needs a new home currently at my mother in laws.

Are these metal bike storage solutions any good ?

Do they suffer badly from condensation ?

I've looked at

http://www.protectacycle.co.uk/ - but they don't offer an installation service.

http://www.asgardsss.co.uk/detail.php?pro_code=Acc1. Earliest installation end of September.

Anyone know any companies in Cheshire/Stockport offering similar service ?

You will not get condensation in a metal shed if the base is built properly - ie damp proof.
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

Even with a properly damp proof base there is still a chance of condensation with a metal shed so it's best to ventilate. I've got a couple solar vents in the roof of my shed as it's built in an alcove rather than free standing so damp was a huge issue but the vents sorted it completely.
  • Get a van. Used for storage and also for getting to trails etc.

Can't you keep the bike in the studio?

Am I being daft or is that a bit far to travel each time you want to use a bike?
