Campagnolo, brake caliper adjustment barrel washer thingy

Right then . . . .
Project bike is now wearing some Chorus skeleton calipers, 50% of which are pointing roughly parallel to the rims . . . However - the question is about the little rubber washer thingy . . .
Unlike my shimano adjusters the barrel doesn't screw into the caliper arm itself - it relies on the bind on the "disc thingy" and the tension on the brake line to keep it seated
Now then . . it has a little rubber washer thingy that seats inside the brake arm to as the barrell itself does not thread there . . .
The washer thingy has now dropped out - - - arrrrgggghhhh
How do I get it back in to its seat?
